Hughes & Kettner will release a complete new line of all-tube guitar amps, the Hughes & Kettner Statesman Line, containing 4 different models (3 combos and 1 head). Each model will have some character differences so the complete line cover the range of sounds from the 60’s to the 80’s.
The 3 combos from the Hughes & Kettner Statesman Line will have 20, 40 and 60 watts respectively and the head will have 50 watts. The 20 (STM Dual EL84) and 40W (STM Quad EL84) models will feature EL84 tubes and one Custom 12″ Eminence Rockdriver Cream speaker, while 60W (STM Dual 6L6) model will feature 6L6 tubes and two Custom 12″ Eminence Rockdriver Cream speakers and head (STM Dual EL34) model EL34 tubes.
All models in the Hughes & Kettner Statesman Line will feature 2 channels (with 2 modes each, normal and twang for clean channel and normal and boost for overdrive channel), 3–band EQ (in STM Dual 6L6 and STM Dual EL34 models there is a 3–band EQ per channel), Accutronics spring reverb, serial external fx-loop (serial/parallel in STM Dual 6L6 and STM Dual EL34 models) and included footswitch (with channel select, boost, reverb and fx-loop functions).
The STM Dual EL84 and STM Quad EL84 models will be available in April and STM Dual 6L6 and STM Dual EL34 models will be available in September. The price of the amps will go from €1,000 to €1,500. External cabinets for the Hughes & Kettner Statesman Line amps will be also soon available.
