Grace Design has updated its famous 201 mic preamp in this m201 Mic Preamp, that is based on the 201 model but updated with some very interesting features. The Grace Design m201 Mic Preamp features the same circuitry as the 801 mic preamp and has the same unaltering tone quality, so what you hear is what you record.
The Grace Design m201 is a 2–channel mic preamp that features a fully balanced transformerless design, 10dB output, 48V phantom power, 20 dB attenuator, phase reverse, ribbon mic mode, front panel HI-Z inputs, level control and input mode selector per channel and 2-colored LED indicators. Possibly Grace Design will add the 24 bit/192kHz hi-res A/D feature.
The Grace Design m201 can be mounted on a 19” rack unit and comes with 5 years warranty. Its recommended price is $2,125.
