Godin Guitars has added a new feature to the A-Series bass guitars, a 13–pin output jack to connect to MIDI devices with almost unlimited sound possibilities. This series consists of 2 models Godin S4 SA and S5 SA (with 4 or 5 strings and fretted or fretless fingerboard).
Besides the MIDI port, the Godin A-Series basses include silver leaf maple body (with solid spruce top), rock maple neck, rosewood fingerboard on fretted and ebony fingerboard on fretless version, 34” scale length, custom preamp, Custom Godin Saddle Transducers (at the bridge) and volume, treble, mid and bass controls.
The Godin S4 SA model’s price is $1,196 and Godin S5 SA’s price is $1,346 (both models feature additional $100 for fretless version) and are available in natural gloss finish only.
