Besides the Ibanez JEM20TH we talked about yesterday, Ibanez have released more guitars to celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Ibanez RG550XX Limited Edition guitars. If you wanted a RG guitar but they weren’t available, now it’s your chance.
Ibanez will release 2 models in that serie, the Ibanez RG550MXX and RG550RXX. Both models have, more or less, the same features, basswood body, 5–pieces 1987 original Wizard Prestige maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, Edge tremolo bridge, IBZ V1 neck, IBZ S1 mid and IBZ V2 bridge pickups, volume and tone controls and 5–way pickup selector.
The Ibanez RG550MXX is available in desert sun yellow and road flare red finishes while Ibanez RG550RXX is only available in black. Both models price is $1,199.99.
