Ibanez will release a limited edition of the JEM (Steve Vai signature guitar) to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the JEM Series, the Ibanez Steve Vai JEM20TH. The guitar has been re-designed a comes with some new features.
The Ibanez JEM20TH features hand-made acrylic resin body (with 3D threads of color that swirl through the guitar body), 5–pieces JEM Prestige neck, rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, Edge Pro bridge, DiMarzio Trans JEM (neck, middle and bridge) pickups, volume and tone controls and 5–way pickup selector. The guitar also lights up, when you pull the tone knob the guitar glows green.
The price of the Ibanez JEM20TH is high, as a limited edition guitar, $5,999.95, the finish is the classic Steve Vai signature’s finish.
