Some time ago Pure released a hi-fi DAB receiver with scrolling display, autotune, etc. They told it was the best sounding radio of its class, but if you join a radio maker company, an amplifier maker company and many rock radio stations, you’ll get the best sounding rock radio, the Pure Evoke-1XT Marshall Special Edition DAB digital radio. The device looks like a Marshall amp and that’s a very cool design for a radio.
The Evoke-1XT Marshall Special Edition features custom designed 3” Marshall speaker, active filters (provide a natural sound), tuned bass reflex port bass enhancer, station selection by name, scrolling display, one-touch autotune, planet rock preset plus 5 other presets, alarm and USB port for PC updates.
The approximate price for the Evoke-1XT Marshall Special Edition is $197, but it really rocks.
