Fender unveils Vintage Hot Rod guitar series

After the Fender Vintage Hot Rod ‘52 Telecaster introduced some days ago, Fender will complete the Vintage Hot Rod guitar series with two new strato’s. The models are Fender Vintage Hot Rod ‘62 Stratocaster and Fender Vintage Hot Rod ‘57 Stratocaster. The Vintage Hot Rod series feature a vintage styling and a thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

Fender Vintage Hot Rod '62 Stratocaster

The Fender Vintage Hot Rod ‘62 Stratocaster features alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 3 American Vintage Strat single-coil pickups, 5–way pickup switch, 1 master volume knob and 2 tone knobs and American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo bridge. Available finishes are 3-Color Sunburst (adds $50), Olympic White and Sherwood Green Metallic.

Fender Vintage Hot Rod '57 Stratocaster

The Fender Vintage Hot Rod ‘57 Stratocaster features alder body, 1–piece maple neck, maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, Parallel SCN (neck), SCN (middle) and DiMarzio Tone Zone (bridge) pickups, 5–way pickup switch, 1 master volume and 2 tone knobs  and American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo bridge. Available finishes are 2-Color Sunburst (adds $50), Black and Candy Apple Red.

Both models’ price is $1,599.99 and they are now available.
