Rocktron released a new floor multi-effects for improve your guitar sounds, the Rocktron G100 Utopia. The main difference between G100 and other floor multi-effects is that the sounds from the Rocktron device are not modeled from other brand amps and are not old and vintage amps, they say there are the sound from next generation amps. I still don’t know if this is a good or a bad feature, although the samples sound really good some people wants this kind of device to reproduce amps they can’t afford or to have a wide range of known good sounds.
The Rocktron G100 Utopia features 128 fully programmable sound presets (64 factory and 64 user presets), 4 tone channels (clean, texas, british and mega), 4 -band EQ, several built-in effects (like wah, reverb, compressor, tremolo, delay, …), blue LCD display, Motorola DSP engine, stereo and headphone outputs, and aux input for MP3 or CD player.
The Rocktron G100 Utopia is now available and its recommended price is $199.
