Belkin introduced a new mixer for iPod fans, the new Belkin TuneSTUDIO can record directly to a 5th generation iPod in 16-bit 44kHz stereo quality. A very good idea for provisional or preliminary recordings of your songs or for recording improvised jam sessions.
The TuneSTUDIO is a 4–channel audio mixer that features 3–band EQ, pan, level mic gain and makeup gain (the two last are for adjusting the sound ti iPod needs) controls per channel, master volume and a dock for the iPod. It also can work as an external sound card for your computer (works with PC and Mac), with audio input and output (for the computer) and USB streaming to the computer.
The Belkin TuneSTUDIO will be available next summer and it’s price will be $180.
