Sennheiser has released a new version of the e602 mic, the Sennheiser e602 II, a cardioid dynamic mic specially designed for low sounds like drums, bass, tubas, etc, that will be included in the new KickPack II replacing the e602 mic.
The e602 II mic features lightweight aluminum body (320 g), humbucking coil (eliminates the electrical interferences), fast transient response and low frequency extension (20 - 16,000 Hz). The pack includes an integral stand mount.
The e602 II looks like a good choice for low frequency instrument players, a high quality mic, specially for live use, at an affordable price, $289.
