We talked about USB instruments and digital instruments in general but we haven’t talked about USB microphones and sE Electronic is now shipping their new model USB2200a. Based on the sE2200a, the mic features USB 2.0 and is also powered by this port and it can record in CD audio quality directly into your DAW.
The sE USB2200a features ultra-low latency (less than 1 ms), an analogue mode that allows you to use the mic with XLR connector with phantom power and noise and spikes remover.
The sE USB2200a is a plug and play USB mic and it will be available on next January. Its approximate price will be $430.
