Roy Orbison fans can spend some money to have a replica of one of the most loved guitars owned by Roy Orbison, the ES-335 used at the end of the 80s. Gibson has build a limited edition guitar from some Orbison guitars they acquired and the help of Orbison’s wife. The result is the Gibson ES-335 Roy Orbison Limited Edition guitar.
The main features of the ES-335 Roy Orbison are maple body, 1–piece mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 2 Gibson ‘57 classic humbucker pickups, 2 volume and 2 tone controls, 3–way pickup switch and Roy Orbison stamp on the back of the headstock.
I don’t know when the ES-335 Roy Orbison will be available but its price will be around $3,275.

Thats one great looking guitar.. reminds me a little of a Gretsch.. I think Roy also played one of those from time to time..

I don’t remember what Gretsch model was played by Roy Orbison, but in Berlin’s Hard Rock Cafe there is a Gretsch signed by him.
