Reverend released another guitar from its Stage King guitar series, the Reverend Charger 290, a guitar for bluesy guitar players with a cleaner neck pickup and a hotter bridge. The guitar was a Guitar Player Editor’s pick.
The features of the Charger 290 are chambered solidbody (with solid spruce top on chambered mahogany), 2 Reverend P-90 pickups, 3–way pickup switch (humbucking cancelled when combining both pickups), bolt-on, maple neck, 25.5” scale length, TOM bridge with stop tail (for $100 more you have a Les Trem tremolo bridge) and volume, tone and bass contour controls.
The Reverend Charger 290 is available in metallic gold, metallic red and tobacco sunburst finishes, and its price is $469.
