Another amp was announced yesterday, this time by Basson Sound. The Basson Sound BGA1 is an all-tube head and cabinet set with 120W output power. This kind of amps are for medium to big size stages where you want to give to the PA a big and powered sound.
The Basson BGA1 features 2 channel, 4 Sovtek 12AX7A pre-amp and 4 Sovtek 6CA7 power tubes and an EQ. The amp has been build to have a long life, some materials are military specs.
The Basson BGA1 has been designed by Victor Basson and Jim Williams (who worked with Frank Zappa, Stevie Wonder, …) and its approximate price is $1,595.
