Sound Performance Labs released at Musikmesse two new high end analog volume controllers, Volume2 and Volume8 who can control 2 and 8 channel at the same time respectively. This volume controllers solve the problem of producing low bit rates and low quality audio in normal monitoring and the disadvantages of passive circuitries.
The Volume2, designed for stereo applications, features balanced XLR inputs/outputs and signals directly controlled by the potentiometer. Volume8 features DB-25 inputs/outputs and potentiometer with invariable precision at any gain level. Both models features are high quality power supply with toroidal transformer, big (1.78″) aluminum knob and a very cool design.
Volume2 approximate price is $350 and Volume8 approximate price is $650.
