Roland introduced this year a new music workstation, the Roland E-80 keyboard. It looks like is a very big keyboard but the quantity of features is also big.
The E-80 can reproduce a wide variety of captured live sounds (flute, drum, 88-key piano, …) including the acclaimed guitar mode (that has a special button for its own), individual EQ for each tone and drum instrument, 4 speakers with digital bass enhancers, lots of buttons and sliders to make easier the interface (I don’t know if more buttons make things easier or not), color touchscreen LCD display, vocal harmonist mode (including more than 80 settings and effects like auto-pitch, vocoder and small/ensemble, …) and external monitor output (for lyrics or scores).
The E-80’s price is near the $4,000.
