Changing the effects or the sound of your guitar with a footswitch sometimes gives problems because you have to be near the footswitch and concentrated on not changing before it’s time.
Xpresense says they solved that problem with WAG, a device to control effects with an expression ring in your right (or left if you are left-handed) hand. It seems like the device can detect the position of the finger and you can control, for example, the wah opening and closing your hand. That information is transmitted to the control unit wirelessly.
I don’t know if that device really works, looks like it was introduced at this year’s summer NAMM but no availability and price yet. There’s only 3 demo videos where you can see how it works. We’ll have to wait to tell you more things about the WAG.

The October issue of Guitar World demos the WAG in their CDROM. I failed to mention that.
I really would like to check one of this. Maybe when they sell the device I’d think on buying one.
Thanks for the info!
