Blue Cat released a new version of its peak meter plug-in Digital Peak Meter Pro. The main feature of this new version is that all can be done in real-time mode, send MIDI commands, controlling the parameters of the plug-in, customize the MIDI output response curve for each parameter, etc.
One of the most interesting feature announced by Blue Cat is the possibility of using the DPMP at real-time, that allows user to for example, from the Blue Cat’s site: “let the drummer control the frequency of the guitarist’s wah-pedal, mute the singer during the bass solo, …”. That’s like a new level of controlling your sound in that kind of software.
Skins are available for Digital Peak Meter Pro, the plug-in is only available for Windows in VST and DirectX formats and its price is now $32.76. At the official site they have tutorials to start working with the software.
