We talked here about the Micro Cube-R amp some time ago, but at Summer NAMM ‘06 Roland has expanded the Cube serie amps with three new models, the Cube 15X, Cube 20X and Cube 30X.
These amps have the features of the Cube serie’s amps but Roland added the Power Squeezer feature to get maximum sustain without the highest volume, in my opinion one of the most annoying things in small amps, and a mini-jack aux input, to connect MP3 or CD players, on all models. But every model has its own features, the Cube 15X features a 8″ speaker, 15 watt output and built-in overdrive, distortion, and a EQ, the Cube 20X features 20 watt output, tuner, COSM amp-modeling and acoustic simulation like the BOSS AC-3 pedal and Cube 30X features the Dyna amp system to have more control over the pick tone.
