Most of the news from last days come from the Summer NAMM 2006 convention in Austin, TX. In that convention Peavey announced the Vortex EX Metal Guitar, a guitar for extreme metal fans. The guitar look reminds me of the Jackson Performer PS-3 but with different inlays.
The Vortex EX features 2 ceramic Peavey humbuckers, basswood body, rosewood fretboard, maple neck, 1 volume and 1 tone controls, licensed Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge.
The Vortex EX price has to be announced yet and will be available after summer.
