Some time ago Preavey introduced the Penta tube amp (in head and cabinet mode) and now introduces the Penta 212 Combo amp. The Penta 212 Combo features two 12” Penta 75 speakers and 70 watts.
As the head and cabinet version, the Penta 212 is a tube amp, featuring two EL34 and four 12AX7 preamp tubes, ceramic tube sockets and the Pentatone system. The Pentantone system allows player to choose between 5 different configurations of gain and EQ structures, is like having 5 different amps all in one.
The head and cabinet version had very good reviews so we must think the combo version will be very good too but, we have to known the price first.
