ASIO is a sound interface for low-latency digital audio created by Steinberg and comes into some sound cards like Audigy. It is used in lots of digital audio applications where latency is a very important point if you play through the computer. Now CEntrance has released a free utility to check your system ASIO driver latency called CEntrance ASIO Latency Test Utility.
This utility will measure the audio round-trip latency on your system and can optimize this latency for a better performance. A really useful tool.
