For tube amp fans like Cary from Electric Guitar Review, Headstrong Amplifiers releases the Prima 30 amp. The Prima 30 amp consists on a head and an extension cabinet, the head is a hand-wired, 30 watt, featuring tubes and big but cool head. The cabinet is a double-speaker cabinet with two 60 watt speakers.
The Prima 30 head features 5 tubes (two 6L6WGC and three 12AX7 tubes) and 1 rectifier (5AR4), 2 inputs (high and low), and one channel with volume, treble, bass, speed and intensity controls. This is one of the coolest amps in design that reminds me of a 50’s amp.
The price maybe is the only bad thing, Prima 30 head’s price is $1699 and Prima 30 cabinet’s price is $700. The amp is available in different color combinations.
