We talked some time ago about CD and MP3 turntables but Stanton released a new CD/MP3 turntable with very useful features for DJs like a vinyl effects emulator to sound like classic vinyl DJs. It’s the Stanton C.314 CD player.
We can emulate vinyl scratching and beating with a big jog wheel while we search for the appropriate next MP3 with the MP3 browser. The C.314 also features a built-in DSP with 7 different effects (auto filter, manual filter, echo, pan, transform, flanger and phaser) with the possibility of using 3 at the same time.
The C.314 has 4 memory buttons that can load cue points and loops, and the memory units can store up to 500 discs cue points and loops. Price is $400.
