It may look like guitar/bass tuners are going to disappear with all the DSP, multi-effects, etc. including a built-in tuner. Korg doesn’t think so and releases the Korg GT-120 Guitar/Bass Chromatic Tuner.
Besides the fact that most built-in tuners are very imprecise, the GT-120 features a needle-type meter and 2 sharp/flat LED indicators above a LCD backlit LCD display to show you the most precise info (like calibration setting, flat mode, note name and the remaining battery life). GT-120 can also tune you guitar in 7 different tunings: standard, open E, A, D, G and DADGAD.
It also features a built-in microphone to tune acoustic guitars/basses or voice tuning. It has 1/4″ jack input and output and Korg says that the GT-120 can operate 100 hours with 2 AAA batteries.
