McDSP announced a new software for mastering, live and post sound tasks to use with Pro Tools. The ML4000 has single-band and multi-band configurations.
ML4000 single-band, the ML4000 ML1, has a brick wall design and features multiple stages of limiting for superior peak detection, while the ML4000 multi-band, the ML4000 ML4, features 4-band Gate, expander, and compressor, besides the ML1 features. Each band on the ML4 can be set up independently or together.
Available for Mac OS X and Windows XP, the price for ML4000 is $495.
