Washburn will introduce next month on NAMM Summer Session 2006 a new guitar in the Idol serie, the Damen Idol DI80 that took its name from a Chicago street, the Damen Avenue.
Focused on punk, pop, indie and alternative musicians, the Damen Idol features mahogany body and neck with rosewood fretboard, Tone Pros Stop tail with tune-o-matic bridge, two Seymour Duncan pickups (Custom pickup in bridge position and ‘59 pickup on neck position). Other features include 22 jumbo frets, 24 3/4″ neck scale and the Buzz Feiten tuning system.
Damen Idol will be available in trans cherry, tobacco sunburst and cognac colors and its price will be $2.249,90.
