7–string guitars offer deeper and lower sounds and a huge range of artists like Korn or Steve Vai choose this sound possibility. For them and for anyone who has a 7–string guitar, Swineshead released two new models of 7–string pickups, the HT7 and the CL7.
The Swineshead HT7 is based on Wathog pickup, works well with Rock, Blues and Metal, and features two coils with alnico V pole pieces and 4 conductor hookup wire for different wiring combinations. The Swineshead CL7 has a clear tone, fits well with Rock, Blues and Jazz and has similar features to HT7.
Both are available in different colors for plastic (black, white, green, cream, …) and wood (rosewood, maple, lacewood, …). Their prices are, $130 for wood finish and $100 for plastic finish.
