Ashdown released a new serie of guitar amps, The Fallen Angel DSP Twin-Channel Guitar Amps with two ranges, the All Tube and the Tube Pre. The All Tube is the expensive range has 60W head, 40W 1×12 combo and 60W 2×12 combo, and the Tube Pre has 100W head, 50W 1×12 combo and 100W 2×12 combo.
The DSP system has 16 internal effects like chorus, flanger, vibrato and independent digital reverb. Outputs include built-in speaker emulation, line level recording and effects send (and return). The Fallen Angel DSP Twin-Channel Guitar Amps includes a 4–way footswitch.
Tube amps have been always the most valued amps for guitar players, but now DSP are built-in on the amps. I think is a very good meeting and, surely, I’d like to have one of those. Ashdown Engineering didn’t say anything about the price of the amps, we’ll stay tuned.
