DASH Signature released an interesting tool for Windows and Mac, it’s EVE 2 Synthesizer a software synth that tries to mix the vintage sounds to a computerized music creation process. EVE means Electronic Vintage Ensemble.
Many functionalities have been modified or added, these are some of them:
- FM/AM modulation per layer to add harmonic distortion to instrument
- Improvements in DSP sections, added an overdrive and a new ECHO rack
- MODULATOR rack can work in send and insert modes
EVE 2 also can emulate some multisamples like MiniMoog, D6 Clavinet, Rhodes 73 MK I, etc. It has 3 wave player sections which controls include pitch, amp and pan LFOs, volume, mute switch, VU meter, velocity zone: min and max, key Zone : high and low, … And also has master controls for glide, mono mode, LFO masters, fine tuning, velocity sens.
