This could be a gadget for those DJs who don’t want to carry around the vinyl collection. The Numark Numark iDJ2 can mix songs from iPod, Memory Sticks or USB Mass storage devices and has, also, a line input to get audio from CD players, turntables, etc.
With Numark iDJ2 you can scratch music (with the two jog wheels that also allow searching songs on iPod) from all devices and has a pitch control with multiple ranges up to +/- 100%. It allows to play two songs from the same iPod and mix with three or more USB Hard Drives or iPod (on USB connection). Sound formats supported are MP3, OGG Vorbis and FLAC.
The device also includes the crate function that allows you to keep a waiting list of songs to be played. The Numark iDJ2 is now available and its price is $599.
