Line6, famous for its POD, has released a new amp bass that allows bass players to enjoy as much as the guitar players with Spider II . LowDown is an amp with built-in synth system that features 5 bass amps: Clean, R&B, Rock, Brit and Grind, and 5 bass effects: Synth, Compressor, Envelope Filter, Octaver and Chorus. A chromatic tuner is also included with LowDown.
Users can save 4 channels memories. Not included, but maybe useful, are two models of footswitch for LowDown: the FBV Express (with volume pedal, chromatic tuner interface, etc.) and the FBV ShortBoard (with dedicated channel switches, dedicated effect and FX loop on/off switches, expression pedal input for dedicated volume control, etc.).
LowDown is available with 150, 175, and 300W, and prices start at $399.
