Soundtech surprises us all again and releases a instrument cable jack-to-USB with a an embedded ADC (analog-digital converter) and signal booster. This USB cable approaches people to digital recording at home, simply connect the guitar/bass or any instrument to the computer USB input and start to play. The cable itself will light when sound is transmitted.
Specifications include: USB 2.0 and compatibility with Windows and Mac (probably soon someone will make it working in Linux), includes some accessories like adaptors from jack to mini-jack and a female splitter to connect it to USB and an amplifier at the same time. Shipping starts in May 2006 and the recommended price is $69.99.
